Abstract: A face can be verified or recognized from several media photographs using facial recognition technology. How does AI facial recognition technology identify criminals? Every individual in the world has a distinct identity that defines them. Along with other physical traits, a person's face is thought to be distinctive. Additionally, it can dramatically improve city safety. Thanks to this technology, real-time data monitoring is now feasible. It first takes a picture or a video, examines it, and then identifies the object to accomplish this. Police can use this technology more successfully to track down a criminal in a busy area.Since this technology has advanced significantly, it is now gradually beginning to grow. To function properly, this new tracking system requires access to numerous databases. And a diversity of locations and faces should be included in this information. There are several approaches to facial detection. This study compares two face recognition techniques designed for categorization: Local Binary Pattern (LBPH) and Haar Cascade. As a result, even though the Haar cascade takes longer to execute than the local binary pattern, it is more accurate.
