Abstract: Employee engagement is recognized as a critical driver of productivity and organizational success. This study explores the relationship between employee engagement and productivity at CRG Solutions, a Pune-based mid-sized IT and analytics company. Using a mixed-method approach, primary data were collected through surveys and interviews, supported by an in-depth case study of the company’s HR practices. Imaginary but realistic data illustrate how engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, flexible work arrangements, and career development impact employee motivation and performance. The findings confirm a strong positive correlation between engagement and productivity, while highlighting areas for improvement in middle management and personalized career growth. This paper contributes to understanding engagement in the Indian startup context and offers practical recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
