Abstract - The Smart Campus Resource Management System (SCRMS) is an AI-driven, web-based solution designed to streamline campus information access and resourcemanagement by overcoming limitations of traditional systems such as fragmented data, delayed responses, and restrictedaccessibility. Built on a client-server architecture using Python Flask and SQLite, it maintains real-time data on campusresources including hostel vacancies, transport availability, and seminar hall bookings. The system employs Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, specifically CountVectorizer and Cosine Similarity, to accurately interpret user queries and map them to predefined intents. It features a hybrid interface thatcombines conversational text input with menu-driven navigation, ensuring ease of use for diverse users. By relyingstrictly on verified institutional data, SCRMS avoids inaccuracies associated with generative AI models while delivering precise and reliable information. The system enablesautomated inquiry handling, real-time database updates, and efficient resourceallocation, significantlyreducing administrative workload.
