ABSTRACT:
Purpose: The main objective of this study was to focus on job satisfaction among library employees. This study examined job satisfaction in the context of social recognition, management support, facilities, promotion benefits, job performance and motivating factors that enhance job performance.
Methodology: This research was conducted in selected libraries. To answer the research questions, the collected data was analyzed based on frequencies and percentages and with the help of secondary data. These data were presented in tables. The researchers used a well-designed questionnaire as a data collection tools. he collected questionnaires were analyzed and presented in appropriate tables.
Finding: The study concluded that job satisfaction has a significant impact on the productivity of library officers in institutions. The results indicate that a positive attitude will enhance both the quality and quantity of library officers' performance
