ABSTRACT:
The Smart Voting Machine with Biometric Authentication is designed to improve the security and accuracy of the voting process by using fingerprint verification. It prevents issues like duplicate voting and impersonation by allowing only authorized voters to cast their votes. In this system, a fingerprint scanner verifies the voter’s identity, after which they can select their candidate using push buttons. A microcontroller records each vote securely and ensures that every voter can vote only once. A buzzer provides feedback for successful or invalid actions, making the system easy to use. This machine offers fast voting, accurate counting, and minimal human intervention. Due to its low cost, compact design, and reliability, it is suitable for small- scale elections such as in colleges, organizations, and societies, demonstrating an effective use of biometric and embedded system technology
