ABSTRACT - Smart Badminton is an IoT and AI-driven ecosystem designed to transform high-velocity athletic performance into actionable intelligence. By integrating high-precision Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) within racket handles and wearable, the system captures real-time biomechanical data, including stroke mechanics and 3D swing trajectories. Leveraging sensor fusion and neural networks, the framework categorizes strokes, measures swing speeds, and generates movement heat maps to optimize court coverage. This "digital coach" identifies physiological fatigue and tactical patterns, democratizing elite-level coaching for grassroots athletes. Ultimately, the project provides a scalable, low-cost blueprint for performance optimization, bridging the gap between human athleticism and computational analytics.
