Abstract— Residential safety remains a critical concern as traditional security measures often lack real-time responsiveness and integrated hazard detection. This study aims to develop an automated smart home ecosystem that addresses three primary household risks: unauthorized access, suspicious activity monitoring, and environmental hazards like gas leaks.By combining computer vision with hardware-level fail-safes, this project provides a multifaceted approach to domestic protection. These findings suggest that integrating modular sensing units into a unified response system significantly enhances user safety and mitigates the impact of both human-led and environmental household threats.
