ABSTRACT
FamCare360 is an integrated web-based digital caregiving framework designed to address the growing challenges associated with remote monitoring of elderly individuals in geographically distributed families. Rapid globalization and migration have significantly increased the physical separation between aging parents and their children, leading to gaps in continuous health supervision and emotional support. The proposed system provides a unified platform that combines physiological health monitoring, lifestyle tracking, emotional assessment, and emergency response mechanisms within a single ecosystem.
The platform incorporates modules such as real-time health parameter logging, Body Mass Index (BMI) computation, dietary and calorie monitoring, activity tracking, mood analysis, appointment scheduling, and SOS-based emergency alerting. A centralized interactive dashboard enables caregivers to monitor trends, detect anomalies, and make timely decisions. The system adopts a component-based architecture with role-based access control to ensure scalability, data security, and personalized user interaction.
Unlike existing fragmented solutions, FamCare360 emphasizes holistic caregiving by integrating both physical and emotional health dimensions. The platform is designed with an elder-centric interface, ensuring usability through simplified navigation, high-contrast visuals, and minimal cognitive load. Experimental usability evaluation demonstrates improved accessibility, consistent data tracking, and enhanced caregiver awareness. The proposed system contributes to proactive healthcare management and strengthens family connectivity, thereby improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.
