Abstract: Employee onboarding plays a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of new hires and significantly influences their confidence, performance, and retention. This study examines the effectiveness of onboarding programs in reducing anxiety and uncertainty among employees, with special reference to Groveman Global Pvt. Ltd. The primary objective is to evaluate how structured onboarding practices help employees understand their roles, feel comfortable, and integrate smoothly into the organization. New employees often face challenges such as unclear job responsibilities, lack of communication, and difficulty adjusting to the work environment. A well-planned onboarding process that includes training, guidance, and continuous support can help overcome these challenges. The study is based on a descriptive research design using both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 153 respondents, selected using simple random sampling. Various statistical tools, including percentage analysis, correlation, and non-parametric tests, were used for data analysis. The findings indicate that effective onboarding improves employee confidence, reduces stress, and enhances job clarity. Factors such as mentorship, peer support, and HR guidance play a significant role. The study concludes that strong onboarding practices improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organisational performance.
