Abstract: The main purpose behind the study is to identify what impact of work shift and overtime on employee’s health and productivity of OJI Interpack India. Work shift refers to the scheduled period during which an employee is required to perform their duties in a company. These shifts can vary depending on the nature of the organization, such as day shifts, night shifts, or rotational shifts, and are designed to ensure continuous operations and productivity. Overtime, on the other hand, refers to the additional hours an employee works beyond their regular work shift. It is usually required during periods of high workload, urgent deadlines, or staff shortages and is often compensated with higher pay. This study focuses on analyzing the impact of work shifts and overtime on employee physical and mental health, job satisfaction, and overall productivity. In today’s industrial environment, shift work and extended working hours have become essential to meet operational demands; however, they also influence employee well-being and performance. The study aims to examine how different shift arrangements, overtime practices, and organizational support affect employees’ engagement, stress levels, and work-life balance.
