Abstract

SaralWorksTeam is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that aims to change how organizations manage projects, work together on tasks, and track team productivity. The rise of remote and hybrid work has increased the need for centralized and intelligent work management systems that improve on traditional spreadsheet tracking.

This paper details the design, structure, development approach, and assessment of SaralWorksTeam. This full-stack web application is built on the MERN technology stack, which includes MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The platform combines workspace management, multi-role access control, real-time task tracking, smart analytics dashboards, team performance monitoring, and a subscription-based SaaS pricing model into one scalable solution.

The system was created using agile methodology, domain-driven design principles, and RESTful API architecture. JWT-based authentication provides secure access for Admins, Managers, and Members. Evaluations show notable improvements in task completion rates (up to 42%), deadline adherence (up to 35%), and team transparency in organizations using the platform.

This research offers a scalable, real-world SaaS product structure that is suitable for startups, digital agencies, remote teams, and enterprise IT departments. It also includes planned features enhanced by AI in the roadmap.
