ABSTRACT
The increasing demand for electric vehicles has created a need for efficient and eco-friendly charging systems. This project presents a Wireless Solar Charging Station for Electric Vehicles, which uses solar energy as a renewable power source and enables charging without physical connections. The system consists of a solar panel, charge controller, battery storage unit, DC-DC converter, and a wireless power transfer mechanism.
The solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy, which is regulated and stored in a battery. This stored energy is then supplied to a transmitter coil that generates a magnetic field. A receiver coil placed in the vehicle captures this energy through electromagnetic induction and converts it into electrical power to charge the vehicle battery. The system can also include sensors and control circuits for automatic operation.
This project provides a sustainable, cost-effective, and user-friendly solution for EV charging and represents a step toward advanced wireless charging technologies in future transportation systems.
