ABSTRACT
In the evolving business environment, aligning employee values with organizational values has become essential for enhancing performance and ensuring long-term sustainability. This study examines employee expectations regarding organizational value alignment within the engineering consulting industry. A descriptive research design was adopted, and primary data were collected from 120 employees using structured questionnaires. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, weighted average method, Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and correlation analysis were applied. The findings indicate that value alignment significantly influences employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention. Employees expect transparency, ethical leadership, and effective communication from organizations. The study also reveals that larger firms exhibit stronger value alignment due to structured HR practices and formal communication systems. In contrast, smaller firms rely more on leadership behaviour and informal systems. The study concludes that organizations must implement structured HR policies, promote ethical leadership, and ensure consistency between stated values and practices to strengthen employee alignment and organizational performance.
