SMART EMERGENCY SYSTEM USING IOT POLES

Abstract— Road accidents are a major issue due to delayed emergency response. This paper presents a smart emergency system using IoT poles integrated with accident detection sensors. The system uses vibration and sound sensors connected to an ESP8266 microcontroller to detect accidents in real time. When an accident is detected, an alert is sent through MQTT and data is uploaded to the ThingSpeak cloud platform. The system also provides location details using latitude and longitude coordinates along with a Google Maps link. This system is cost-effective, efficient, and helps in reducing response time for emergency services.
