ABSTRACT
Employee attrition remains a critical issue in the healthcare business process outsourcing sector, especially in organizations such as Prochant India Private Limited, where workforce stability directly influences service quality and operational outcomes. This study aims to identify the key factors contributing to employee attrition and to evaluate effective retention strategies within the organization. A quantitative research approach was adopted, using primary data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed among employees, supported by secondary data from relevant academic sources. The study focuses on major variables including workload, job satisfaction, work-life balance, compensation, organizational support, and employee recognition. The results reveal that excessive workload, workplace stress, and poor work-life balance are the dominant factors leading to employee attrition. Conversely, job satisfaction, fair compensation, and employee recognition significantly contribute to retaining employees. The study also highlights the importance of data driven human resource practices, such as HR analytics and predictive modeling, in identifying attrition risks and enabling proactive decision-making. Based on these findings, it is recommended that organizations enhance employee engagement, introduce flexible work policies, strengthen leadership practices, and utilize analytical tools for better workforce management. The study concludes that a combination of strategic HR initiatives and data- driven insights can effectively reduce attrition and improve organizational performance.
