Abstract: This study investigates the influence of digital investment platforms on the financial behaviors of college students, specifically focusing on their propensities toward saving and engaging in sustainable investment practices. Given the increasing accessibility and prevalence of financial technology, understanding its impact on the financial literacy and decision-making processes of digitally native generations, such as Generation Z, is crucial. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of behavioral data from app usage with qualitative insights from surveys, to elucidate the mechanisms through which these platforms shape financial habits. The investigation delves into the ethical implications of AI-driven tools within these platforms, particularly concerning unbiased decision-making and the potential for digital nudging to influence sustainable investment choices. Ultimately, this study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how digital investment platforms are reshaping the financial landscape for college students, offering insights into both the opportunities and challenges they present for fostering responsible financial behavior and promoting impact investing.
