The Impact of AI-Driven Customer Service on Consumer Loyalty

Abstract
This research explores the ways in which incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into customer service influences consumers' loyalty toward a brand. Drawing on a simulated survey involving 400 participants—a sample robust enough for reliable statistical insights—the analysis delves into the alignment between a brand's goals for service efficiency and the empathy and problem-solving abilities that customers actually experience when engaging with AI chatbots. Results from the simulated dataset underscore AI's mixed effects on brand image, with strong praise for speed but notable shortfalls in perceived warmth and effective issue handling. Ultimately, the paper offers practical advice for companies aiming to harmonize automated systems with a more human-centered approach to building enduring customer allegiance.
