Abstract - This research examines the spread and impact of COVID-19 through the use of data visualization methods. Publicly available datasets were analyzed to monitor confirmed infections, fatalities, and recovery rates across various regions. The study identified noticeable differences in infection and mortality patterns among racial and ethnic communities. In particular, Black and Latinx populations experienced comparatively higher impacts, which may be associated with disparities in healthcare access and testing facilities. Interactive dashboards developed in Tableau effectively illustrated rapid case growth, regional hotspots, and the effects on different demographic groups. Visualization techniques such as treemaps and parallel coordinate charts assisted in simplifying and interpreting complex datasets. Preliminary data analysis also revealed that fever and cough were the most frequently reported symptoms, while the average incubation period of the virus was approximately five days.
