Abstract—Augmented Reality (AR) is transforming online furniture shopping by enabling users to visualize virtual furniture objects directly inside real-world environments before making purchase decisions. Traditional furniture shopping platforms mainly depend on static images and manual dimension measure-ments, resulting in incorrect purchases and high return rates.
This paper presents “Style My Home Using Augmented Re-ality,” a browser-based AR furniture visualization framework developed using WebXR, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Progres-sive Web App technologies. The proposed system enables users to place, rotate, move, and scale virtual furniture models in real-time using smartphones.
The framework improves customer confidence, reduces return rates, enhances interior visualization accuracy, and provides immersive user interaction.
