Abstract: Women’s health is a multidimensional concept encompassing Physical, Reproductive, and Psycho- Physiological well- being across different life stages. The increasing prevalence of Menstrual Dysfunctions such as Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea, Oligomenorrhea, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), and Polycystic Over Syndrome (PCOS) highlights the need for holistic and sustainable therapeutic approaches. Conventional treatments, though effective in symptom management, often fail to address underlying Psychosomatic and lifestyle related factors. In this context, Yogic techniques emerge as a comprehensive mind- body intervention with significant preventive and therapeutic potential.
The present conceptual study aims to scientifically evaluate the efficacy of structured yogic intervention including Asanas, Pranayam and Mediation on Menstrual Disorders, Gynaecological Health, and Psycho- Physiological parameters in women across adolescence, Reproductive age, and Menopause. This study establishes that Yoga effectively modulates that Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and endocrine function, thereby promoting holistic well- being. Yoga can be integrated as a Safe, Cost-Effective, and Evidence – Based Complementary therapy in women’s healthcare systems.
