ABSTRACT:
Ensuring women’s safety remains a critical societal challenge despite advancements in legal frameworks and technology. This paper presents a mobile-based Women Safety Application developed using Flutter and Firebase to provide instant emergency assistance. The developed system enables users to trigger a one-tap SOS alert, share live GPS location, and notify emergency contacts in real time. Firebase services are utilized for secure authentication, cloud-based data storage, and real-time synchronization, ensuring fast and reliable communication during critical situations.
The application is designed with an intuitive interface to ensure accessibility for users with varying technical expertise. Unlike traditional solutions that rely heavily on manual interaction, the system incorporates a timer-based automatic alert mechanism to handle situations where the user is unable to trigger an alert manually. The system focuses on rapid response, continuous tracking, and operational simplicity. This work demonstrates how modern mobile technologies can be effectively leveraged to provide scalable and reliable safety solutions for women in real-world environments.
