Abstract-Traditional voting systems depend on physical identity cards and manual verification, which can lead to identity fraud, impersonation, and duplicate voting. To overcome these issues, this project proposes an AI-Based Cardless Biometric Voting Authentication System using facial recognition technology. The system captures the voter’s facial image through a camera and compares it with pre-registered biometric data stored in a secure database. Artificial intelligence techniques are used to accurately verify the voter’s identity and authenticate access to the voting system. After successful verification, the system checks whether the voter has already cast a vote to prevent duplicate voting attempts. The proposed system also includes liveness detection to avoid spoofing attacks using photos or videos. By eliminating the need for physical voter ID cards, the system improves security, transparency, and efficiency in the voting process. It reduces manual intervention, minimizes human errors, and provides a reliable authentication mechanism for smart electronic voting environments.
