ABSTRACT
HireFlow is a smart campus recruitment web application developed to simplify and automate the placement process in educational institutions. The system provides a centralized platform where students, recruiters, and the Career Development Cell (CDC) can interact efficiently in real time. Traditional placement systems mainly depend on manual processes, which often lead to communication gaps, delays, and difficulties in managing recruitment activities. To overcome these challenges, the proposed system offers an integrated and user-friendly solution using modern web technologies. The application is built using the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, to ensure scalability and high performance. Separate dashboards are provided for students, recruiters, and administrators with secure role-based access. Students can create profiles, upload resumes, apply for jobs, and track application status easily. Recruiters can post job openings, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews through the platform. The CDC can monitor placement activities, manage student records, and analyse recruitment progress effectively. An AI-powered chatbot is integrated into the system to assist users with navigation and query handling. Machine Learning techniques are also used to provide intelligent job recommendations and placement prediction based on student skills and profiles. Overall, HireFlow enhances transparency, reduces manual workload, improves recruitment efficiency, and provides a modern digital solution for campus placements.
