ABSTRACT
This study examines the impact of advanced technological adoption on operations and supply chain management in the pharmaceutical sector. With increasing regulatory pressure, demand volatility, and the need for operational efficiency, pharmaceutical organizations are progressively integrating technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), automation, and ERP systems. A descriptive research design was employed, and primary data were collected from 60 professionals working across manufacturing, operations, quality control, and management functions. Statistical tools including regression analysis and ANOVA were used to evaluate the relationship between technology adoption and supply chain performance indicators. The findings reveal a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between advanced technologies and improvements in lead-time reduction, inventory turnover, and overall operational efficiency. The results confirm that predictive analytics and AI play a crucial role in enhancing responsiveness and decision-making capabilities. The study concludes that digital transformation is a strategic necessity for building resilient, agile, and performance-driven pharmaceutical supply chains.
