Abstract— The rapid growth of urbanization and increasing public service demands have highlighted the importance of efficient citizen service management systems. Traditional complaint handling mechanisms often suffer from delayed responses, lack of transparency, manual record keeping, and inefficient communication between citizens and government authorities. These limitations reduce operational efficiency and negatively affect citizen satisfaction. To address these challenges, this paper presents LOK SAHYAK, a web-based citizen service and public issue resolution platform developed using the MERN Stack architecture. The proposed system enables citizens to report civic issues such as road damage, waste management problems, drainage blockages, water supply interruptions, electricity failures, and other public infrastructure concerns through a centralized digital platform.
Lok Sahyak provides secure user authentication, complaint registration, image upload functionality, location-based reporting, complaint tracking, real-time notifications, and administrative monitoring through interactive dashboards.
