Abstract—SyncVerse is a modern real-time collaborative coding platform designed for students and developers to improve collaborative learning and software development workflows. The platform integrates collaborative code editing, AI-powered coding assistance, whiteboard collaboration, real-time synchronization, voice communication, and secure room-based collaboration into a unified environment. Existing coding and communication platforms generally provide separate environments for coding, learning, and collaboration, which creates inefficiency during teamwork and practical learning. SyncVerse solves this problem by combining coding, communication, collaboration, and AI assistance into a single scalable platform. The system is developed using modern technologies such as Next.js, Convex, Liveblocks, Clerk Authentication, and LiveKit to provide secure and efficient collaboration. The objective of this paper is to present the architecture, implementation, features, and collaborative advantages of SyncVerse for modern real-time development and learning environments.
