Abstract
The growth of digital technologies and internet accessibility has transformed traditional retail businesses into intelligent online platforms. E-commerce applications have become a dominant medium for purchasing products and services globally. Among these applications, online bookstore systems play a significant role in providing customers with easy access to educational, technical, and recreational books. However, existing bookstore platforms often face challenges related to scalability, user experience, inventory management, and secure transactions. This paper presents a survey and design framework for Velora, a React-based e-commerce website developed for online book store management. The proposed framework integrates modern web technologies including React.js, Vite, routing mechanisms, modular architecture, and responsive design principles. The system provides functionalities such as user authentication, book browsing, shopping cart management, profile management, and administrative control. The study investigates current e-commerce trends, identifies research gaps in bookstore systems, and proposes a scalable architecture for efficient online book commerce. The proposed framework improves customer satisfaction, enhances operational efficiency, and supports future integration of artificial intelligence-based recommendation systems.
