Abstract - Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the global employment landscape by influencing job roles, skill requirements, salary structures, and workforce demand. Understanding these changes requires effective analytical techniques capable of extracting meaningful insights from complex labor market datasets. This study presents a comprehensive data visualization analysis of an AI employment dataset using Tableau. The dataset contains information related to job roles, salary ranges, skill demand scores, geographic distribution, and employment characteristics.
Various visualization techniques including bar charts, heat maps, histograms, funnel charts, and geographic analyses were employed to identify patterns and trends within the AI labor market. The analysis reveals significant differences in salary distribution across countries, varying levels of AI automation risk among job roles, increasing skill demand over time, and strong global demand for technical professionals. The findings demonstrate that while automation affects certain occupations, highly specialized roles continue to remain resilient due to the need for advanced problem-solving and domain expertise.
The study highlights the effectiveness of Tableau as a business intelligence and visualization platform for transforming raw employment data into actionable insights. The results provide valuable information for students, professionals, recruiters, and policymakers seeking to understand emerging workforce trends in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
