Design and Implementation of a Bluetooth-Based Voice Controlled Home Lighting System using Arduino UNO

ABSTRACT:Home automation has become an important area of research due to the increasing demand for convenience, energy efficiency, and accessibility. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Bluetooth-based voice-controlled home lighting system using Arduino UNO. The proposed system enables users to control electrical lighting through voice commands transmitted from an Android smartphone to an Arduino microcontroller via an HC-05 Bluetooth module. A relay module is used to switch an AC lamp ON and OFF based on the received commands. The system provides a low-cost, user-friendly, and efficient solution for home automation. Experimental results demonstrate reliable operation with minimal response delay and high command recognition accuracy.
