Abstract - The retail industry generates large volumes of transactional data that can be analyzed to understand customer behavior, product performance, and business profitability. This project presents a comprehensive supermarket sales analysis dashboard developed using Tableau. The dashboard provides insights into key business metrics such as sales, profit, orders, customer segments, product categories, sub-categories, manufacturers, and geographical sales distribution.
Various data visualization techniques including KPI cards, bar charts, geographical maps, and interactive dashboards were used to transform raw sales data into meaningful business insights. The analysis highlights sales performance across different customer segments, product categories, states, manufacturers, and customers. The dashboard enables users to identify top-performing products, profitable customer groups, and regional sales trends, thereby supporting data-driven decision-making.
