Abstract - The Indian trade ecosystem is a massive and dynamic network, generating extensive structured data across trading partner performance, spatial distribution, commodity classifications, and annual growth velocity. This paper presents an interactive Tableau dashboard developed to visualize and analyze India’s import and export datasets from 2010 to 2021. The dashboard consolidates five visualization types—including a geographic value map for spatial trade distribution, bar charts for India’s top trading partners and top traded commodities, a time-series line chart for raw trade value trends, and a custom calculated year-over-year growth rate chart—into a single, cohesive, single-screen analytical interface. Key findings highlight the long-term dominance of major economies in India’s total trade volume, the concentration of trade value in specific commodity sectors, and a severe macroeconomic contraction in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where India’s imports and exports experienced significant volatility, followed by an aggressive, record-breaking recovery in 2021. This work demonstrates how Tableau's interactive layouts and calculated fields can transform raw trade data into actionable macroeconomic intelligence for economists, supply chain analysts, business leaders, and policymakers.
