ABSTRACT
Cost management and control have become essential functions in modern manufacturing organizations because competition grows tighter, materials get pricier, plus operations must run smarter, keeping costs in check now matters more than ever for factories today. Battery part makers deal with tough spots like spending on production, handling stock, using workers well, along with stretching resources further. Looking closely at one such company reveals how it handles expenses - also whether those moves actually help it perform better overall. Information came together through firsthand interviews combined with documents gathered after the fact. From June to August, sixty one workers filled out a detailed survey while notes were taken on daily routines at the plant. Profit gains link closely to how budgets are set, how material use is tracked, and where differences between expected and actual spending pop up. Watching stock levels closely, along with cutting down excess production scraps, helps lower expenses across shifts. Most staff said keeping tabs on spending habits lifts both output quality and bottom line results. Staying alert about cost patterns over time, paired with clear tracking systems, supports long term strength against market rivals in factory settings.
