ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the reliability and availability of a two-component repairable system with intrinsic and common-cause shock failures using the Weibull distribution. A Markov model is developed to evaluate reliability, availability, MTBF, and failure frequency for both series and parallel configurations. The results show that the parallel system is more reliable and fault-tolerant than the series system, providing a useful framework for reliability assessment and maintenance planning.
