Abstract:
This paper focus on various air travel companies which are serving in India and their financial performance.
Purpose: To study the liquidity, profitability, solvency, overall financial performance and financial statement analysis of civil-aviation companies. Moreover to analysis inter and intra relation between selected air travel companies.
Design/ Methodology/ Approach: After reviewing various kinds of literature related to various financial ration and financial performance. 5 companies selected for study purpose. Their last 15 years financial data collected and compared by using various financial tool. As per the objective of the study, a hypothesis was set. Collected data converted into tabular form. As per the suitability of data, a statistical test applied to it.
Findings: At end of the article various findings and suggestion is given for each selected air travel company for what to do and what not for the betterment with perspective of company, society and government
Research Limitations / Implications: The study is considering only 5 selected companies for study purpose which serving in India
Practical implications: Suggestions for the betterment and make easier for companies to which level they maintain their various financial risk in future.
Originality / Value: The paper is fully original as primary data collected from air travel companies various published report and analyzed as per applicable statically test.
