ABSTRACT
The study focuses on investigating the self-efficacy and self-perception of secondary school students through a comparative analysis. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their ability to accomplish tasks and achieve desired outcomes. Self-perception encompasses one's perception of oneself, including abilities, skills, and overall self-worth. The research aims to compare the self-efficacy and self-perception of secondary school students across different demographic variables such as gender, grade level, and academic performance. By understanding these factors, the study seeks to shed light on potential variations in self-efficacy and self-perception among secondary school students. The number of male and female students was kept same for measurement of self-perception; Self-perception scale by DR. K.G Aggarwal was administered. Result indicate that significant difference was found between self-efficacy and self-perception of secondary school students.
