Abstract - This study analyzes the effectiveness of crew management and workforce planning in enhancing employee productivity at Njordships India Private Limited. The research focuses on understanding how workforce planning strategies, crew management systems, and technological tools influence operational efficiency. Primary data was collected from 173 respondents across departments such as Deck, Engine, and Ratings using a structured questionnaire. Statistical tools including percentage analysis, Kruskal–Wallis test, Mann–Whitney U test, and Chi-square test were used for analysis.
The findings reveal that while the organization possesses a skilled workforce and structured systems, there are challenges in communication, system integration, and flexibility. Factors such as job stress, salary concerns, and limited career growth impact employee satisfaction. The study concludes that effective crew management significantly improves productivity, but enhancements in training, digital systems, and policy implementation are required
