ABSTRACT - This study examines the effectiveness of last mile connectivity in enhancing metro usage in Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Using primary data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire, the research analyses passenger perceptions regarding accessibility, safety, availability, and convenience of post-metro transport options. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, correlation, chi-square, and regression were applied. The findings reveal that while metro services are efficient, inadequate feeder systems and safety concerns limit their optimal usage. Although some statistical relationships were insignificant, a strong willingness among passengers to increase metro usage was observed if last mile connectivity improves. The study highlights the critical role of integrated feeder services and infrastructure development in enhancing user satisfaction and promoting sustainable urban mobility.
