Abstract
Retail investors play a significant role in the development and stability of capital markets through their investment decisions. This study examines the investment decisions of retail investors with reference to Reliance Industries by analysing investor awareness, financial literacy, risk perception, expected returns, market information, company reputation, and investment objectives. The research is based on both primary and secondary data collected from 100 retail investors using a structured questionnaire. The findings indicate that financial literacy, company reputation, expected returns, market knowledge, and risk tolerance significantly influence investment decisions. The study emphasizes informed investing for achieving long-term wealth creation and improved financial decision-making.
