Abstract
In the context of an independent India, research on the skill development of young rural entrepreneurs is crucial. This study assesses young people's entrepreneurial abilities in rural settings, which foster economic independence. Any country's economic development is significantly impacted by entrepreneurship. It is a means of enhancing the standard of living, particularly for individuals who reside in rural locations where resources are either undeveloped or in raw, crude form, and its application is frequently extremely difficult and complex. Despite these obstacles, the majority of rural business owners are able to thrive thanks to their inventive and rustic skills. 70-80% of people in our nation reside in rural areas, and the majority of them are either directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture, fishing, animal husbandry, or rural wage labour related to plantations and ranches. In addition, they carry out additional auxiliary tasks related to rural development. Programs for entrepreneurship development can be highly helpful in giving rural populations more opportunities to raise their level of living. Migration to cities can also be managed by entrepreneurship. The goal of this study is to highlight the importance that rural entrepreneurs play in a difficult and demanding environment. Only secondary data will be used in this study, which will focus on rural entrepreneurship and enhancing the rural entrepreneurship ecosystem. The study's conclusion states that as the majority of Indians live in rural areas, they are very important to the country's economy.
