Abstract
Technical analysis is an important method used by investors and traders to evaluate stock price movements and identify profitable trading opportunities. This study analyses the technical performance of banking stocks with reference to IDFC First Bank and Canara Bank using technical indicators such as moving averages, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), support and resistance levels, and trading volume. The research is based entirely on secondary data collected from financial websites, stock exchanges, company reports, and market publications. The findings indicate that technical analysis provides valuable insights into market trends, momentum, and investment decision-making for banking sector stocks.
