ABSTRACT:

Investors in the stock market are keen to understand and analyze price movements, as share prices constantly change due to ongoing buying and selling activities. To study these fluctuations, two primary methods are commonly used: fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Both approaches aim to help investors achieve the same goal—buying stocks at a lower price and selling them at a higher price to maximize returns.

Technical analysis is a broad concept that includes various trading methods used to predict future price movements by examining past price data and related market statistics. It primarily focuses on identifying trends and patterns in price behavior. A technical analyst is mainly concerned with determining the direction in which prices are likely to move in the future.
