Abstract: The present study focuses on analyzing the effect of stock management on product availability in supermarkets and its influence on customer satisfaction and business performance. Effective stock management plays a vital role in maintaining continuous product availability, reducing stock-outs, minimizing overstocking, and improving operational efficiency. The study highlights the importance of inventory control techniques, demand forecasting, and proper replenishment systems in supermarkets. The research is based on primary and secondary data collected through questionnaires, books, journals, and research articles. The findings indicate that poor stock management leads to product unavailability, customer dissatisfaction, and loss of sales, whereas efficient inventory practices improve customer loyalty and supermarket performance. The study concludes that supermarkets should adopt modern inventory systems and advanced technologies to ensure better stock control and long-term business success.
