Abstract
This study examines the impact of the work environment on employee performance and engagement. The research is based on both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected using a structured questionnaire from employees, while secondary data was gathered from journals and previous studies. The study analyses key factors such as organizational culture, work–life balance, rewards, training, and workplace conditions. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, Mann–Whitney U test, Kruskal–Wallis H test, Chi-square test, and Spearman correlation were used to analyse the data. The findings reveal that a positive work environment significantly improves employee engagement and performance. Factors such as leadership support, team coordination, and flexible work arrangements have a strong influence on productivity. The study concludes that organizations must focus on improving workplace conditions and implementing employee-centric policies to achieve better performance and long-term growth.
