Information Technology (IT) has become a key driver of innovation and operational excellence in the banking sector by improving transaction speed, customer convenience, service quality, security, and organizational efficiency. This study examines the role of Information Technology in private banks by analysing digital banking services, internet banking, mobile banking, ATM services, digital payment systems, cybersecurity, customer satisfaction, and banking performance. A descriptive research design was adopted using both primary and secondary data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. For analytical purposes, Chi-Square Test was applied to examine the association between information technology services and customer satisfaction. The findings indicate that technology-enabled banking services significantly improve customer convenience, transaction efficiency, service quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. The study concludes that continuous technological innovation remains essential for strengthening banking operations, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining the competitiveness of private banks in the digital financial environment.
