Abstract:In the modern digital era, chat applications have become one of the most popular and important communication tools. These applications allow users to communicate instantly through text messages, voice messages, images, videos, and document sharing over the internet. Chat applications help people stay connected anytime and anywhere, making communication faster, easier, and more convenient in daily life.This survey paper focuses on the study of chat app applications, their features, functions, and importance in modern communication systems. The main features include user registration, login authentication, one-to-one messaging, group chat, media sharing, online and offline status, notifications, and data security. These features improve communication between users and provide a smooth and user-friendly experience.Chat applications are widely used in personal communication, education, business organizations, and professional work because they save time and support real-time interaction. This paper also discusses the technologies used in chat app development and explains how these applications improve digital communication through secure and reliable messaging services.The survey concludes that chat app applications have become an essential part of modern communication. With continuous improvements in technology, chat applications are becoming more advanced, secure, and useful for users in different fields. They play an important role in connecting people and improving communication across the world.
