Abstract—This project presents an Automatic Accident Detection and Ambulance Rescue System using IoT and GPS technologies. It detects collisions in real time via sensors and sends location data through GSM to emergency services, enabling rapid ambulance dispatch and even controlling traffic signals to clear rescue paths. By integrating IoT sensors with GPS tracking, the system continuously monitors vehicle conditions and identifies sudden impacts, while the GSM module transmits precise coordinates to hospitals and emergency control centers. The rescue workflow is further optimized through intelligent traffic management, ensuring ambulances receive priority passage. Cloud-based data storage supports accident pattern analysis, helping authorities design preventive measures and improve safety strategies. Designed for scalability, the system can be deployed across both urban and rural networks, representing a step toward smarter cities where connected infrastructure actively safeguards human life.
