ABSTRACT- The rapid growth of Unified Payments Interface (UPI)-based Financial Technology (FinTech) applications has significantly transformed the digital payment ecosystem in India. The increasing adoption of digital payment platforms such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and BHIM has enhanced the convenience, speed, and accessibility of financial transactions, particularly among young working professionals. This study examines the adoption of UPI-based FinTech tools and their impact on sustainable financial behavior among young working professionals in Bengaluru. It explores how factors such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, security, and digital financial awareness influence the adoption of UPI-based payment systems and encourage responsible financial practices. Sustainable financial behavior includes budgeting, regular savings, controlled spending, financial discipline, and informed financial decision-making. Although UPI applications provide numerous benefits by promoting financial inclusion and reducing dependence on cash, concerns related to cybersecurity, privacy, and digital fraud continue to influence user confidence. This review highlights the growing role of digital payment technologies in fostering responsible financial behavior while emphasizing the importance of financial literacy and secure digital payment infrastructure. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, FinTech service providers, and researchers in promoting sustainable financial practices and strengthening India's digital financial ecosystem.
