ABSTRACT
Agriculture is the backbone of the economy, and farmers often face challenges such as unpredictable weather conditions, crop diseases, improper fertilizer usage, pest attacks, and limited access to timely agricultural guidance. The AI-Based Farmer Supporting System Using Artificial Intelligence is designed to provide intelligent decision support that helps farmers make informed farming decisions and improve crop productivity. The system integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to analyze agricultural data and generate personalized recommendations based on crop type, soil conditions, and weather information.
The application is developed using Python, Flask, and SQLite, providing a user-friendly interface for farmer registration, crop management, and agricultural advisory services. Farmers can enter crop details and receive recommendations for suitable crops, fertilizer usage, irrigation schedules, disease identification, pest management, and preventive measures. The system also integrates real-time weather monitoring to provide timely alerts and recommendations, helping farmers minimize crop losses caused by adverse climatic conditions. To improve accessibility, the application supports multilingual voice alerts, enabling rural farmers to receive information in their preferred language.
By combining AI-based recommendations with real-time agricultural data, the proposed system assists farmers in improving decision-making, reducing production costs, increasing crop yield, and promoting sustainable farming practices. The system serves as a smart digital assistant that enhances agricultural productivity while making modern technology accessible to farmers in rural and remote areas.
