Abstract
This project presents the design and development of an AI-Driven Career Recommendation System, a web-based application developed to address the challenges students face while selecting suitable career paths. The system utilizes modern web technologies including React.js, TypeScript, and AI-powered recommendation techniques to analyze comprehensive user profiles consisting of academic qualifications, technical skills, certifications, projects, and personal interests.
The proposed system employs Artificial Intelligence techniques and contextual profile analysis to generate personalized career recommendations according to user capabilities, preferences, and career goals. The recommendation engine compares user information with career-related datasets, industry requirements, and skill mappings to identify suitable career opportunities. The system also performs skill-gap analysis and suggests relevant learning resources, certifications, and improvement paths required for career growth and professional development.
In addition, the platform integrates an automated Resume Builder that enables users to generate professional resumes dynamically using their profile information. The system further includes educational stream analysis, preference-based assessment modules, and learning guidance support to improve recommendation accuracy and user engagement.
The primary objective of the system is to simplify career decision-making through intelligent, data-driven, and user-centric guidance. The developed solution provides a cost-effective, accessible, and scalable platform that assists students and graduates in making informed career decisions, improving employability, and preparing effectively for future professional opportunities with greater confidence.
