Abstract
These days, AI and computer vision aren’t just buzzwords—they’re changing the way people shop for beauty and fashion. This research dives into a new automated system that detects your skin tone and offers personalized recommendations, blending dermatology and style in one smooth package. Here’s how it works: You upload a portrait, and the system uses advanced image processing to pick out your skin’s main pigments, ignoring stuff like weird lighting or background clutter. Then, it matches your tone to a detailed database. From there, the system does two things. First off, it picks outfit colors that actually match your gender and skin tone, using real color theory—not just random hunches. Then it puts together a skincare routine that goes after your specific issues, like hyperpigmentation or sun sensitivity, all based on your personal info. And here’s something cool: it gives you direct shopping links to places like Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa, so you can grab the recommended products without hunting them down yourself. Tests show it’s great at figuring out skin tone for people from all backgrounds, so no one gets left out. At the end of the day, this project brings a smart, data-driven spin to hyper-personalization. You get expert style and skincare tips right at your fingertips, making it way easier to level up your grooming and fashion game.
